But think not they were forgotten even if they are not clearly remembered, seeming, as it were, bracketed ellipses, some gone thing unremarked, unrecorded, a gap in the tape or a static interlude, indecipherable, forever lost but there all the same, a thing without a name which at the time seemed to have meant something but in memory is only a false meme, a blighted recollection, a blurred reflection in a filthy looking-glass of afterthought.
