Lord Bleary in the Library of Gloomsbury Castle

Having not been born’d from a Usual sort,
there was little question that the usual questions
ignored by most could not be so easily evaded
nor sorted out for one damned to a doomed
Conditional Perdition where every Wherefore
or Therefore is countered by some Ne’erfore.

The Evermore ever perched above his Chamber
Door, gazes down upon the Memento Mori;
hence the poor creature’s gloom; shabby excuse
for what was supposed to be his Escapist room,
but shall never pass Romantic muster.
(Despite the absence of a Feathered Duster.)
